1 mm LEDs??

Looking for 1mm LEDs, 3 v or less, blinking preferred but I can build a blink circuit if needed. 3mm is popular but 1 mm is seemingly impossible to find.

Application? Model wind turbine aviation avoidance lights.

Hi,

If you cant find anything else perhaps some fiber optic cable would help.

How much size tolerance do you have? Digikey may have something you can use: LEDs - <75mA, Discrete | Digi-Key

I've got some surface-mount LEDs that are probably close, and nearly impossible to solder leads to... Fiber optics is probably the best idea. There are a bunch of model railroad hobby sites these days, and you wouldn't believe the detail some of these people get into, might find something there.
