1. jUST need some help, im building a sensor using photrans, it will only detect black color and disregard whit one's how would i do it?

2. How would i connect the output of the phototrans to convert it to a digital output for my 0-99 counter if it detects a black box and increment by one.

White reflects/transmits light ...phototransistor turns on.
Black absorbs/blocks light...phototransistor turns off.

An op amp comparator circuit would probably work well.
