I previewed a new post in the same thread, and the attachment worked. What's up with that?

Attachments don't work
I tried to edit this post to make a correction to the schematic, and I keep getting this error message:
I'm assuming this means my attachments.Fatal error: Unsupported operand types in /home/electro/public_html/editpost.php on line 437
The file types are .asc and .png. They are small files.
