    Default IR Reciever/transmitter noob help

    Hi,
I've built a IR transmitter using the following wiring diagram: http://multyremotes.com/wireless-dc-motor-control.htm for my robot.
Now i'm looking for a reciever, anyone got a wiring diagram?
And how long will it be able to reach? distance between transmitter & reciever?

    Thanks!

The receiver is shown on the same webpage.

However, it's NOT a very well designed website, both receiver and transmitter are lacking vital components.

    Hm, okay!

Do you have any tip on another one? I'm ready to build a new one? Pref. wiring diagram!

Or any other ideas how I can control 2x 100W 12v motors through a LPT or COM-port?

    Thanks!

There are both IR and radio PIC examples in my tutorials.

You need two h-bridges, big enough for the motors.
