Hi my site is Ozirock's Projects - Home you can find information on how I created my computer controlled RC car and I'll be updating the site with more projects as I get them completed.
http://www.robotmarketplace.com/store.html - great place for wheels, larger motors, good motor controllers for larger bots.
Pololu Robotics and Electronics - good prices on small sensors inluding IR and Ultrasound, small motor control PCBs, etc.
Black Robotics.com - Unique robots and robot controllers. - nice talking robot controller "brain" using a PIC, robots, parts etc.
