| Moderator | speed = Axle_RPM * (Whell_Diameter * pi) if your axle turns at 100RPM and wheel diameter is 2 inches speed = 100 * 2 * pi speed = 200 * 3.14 speed = 628 incher / minute In ten seconds the robot would travel (628/60) * 10 or about 104 inches if there is no wheel slip. Is that the sort of thing you wanted ?

You need what is called a shaft encoder, to count the revolutions of the motor, feeding it back to the micro controller to increase/decrease the power delivered to the motor, to acheive the required speed.
