hi everybody, this is sian....i am a final year student now....my project title is robotic arm path planning....i am suffer in doing this project....can somebody help me?....i have no idea to build a robotic arm...n designing the interface too....does anybody familiar with interface design by using visual basic?....since my robotic is controlled by pc,so i need to use RS 232 serial port in my project.....so how does RS232 work wif visual basic?....can anybody give idea to write the program? plz......

When I was student ,one of my friends also finished the same
project.As I know ,he used PC to control robotic arm using RS-232
The software on PC which control robotic arm was designed by VB.
It runs so good.
perhaps ,to finish this project ,you need have the understanding
of MCU (such as PIC ,89c51 ) ,and You need to know how to program the software on PC using VB ,VC ..v.v
