I having a troble.

I am in school and I have a gameport connection on the board for joystic.
and we want to buy new joystic, and the new one are with usb connection.
Dose anyone know how to solve this problem?

hw does this have anything to do with robotics.

anwhoo just pluug the new joystick into the USB hole and anjoy. if your cooomputer has no USB then buy joysticks what have gameport suport. buying a converter (if there even is one) will be the same cost.

amm usb because all the joystics here are usb and the serial's ones are expensive.
We are participanting the FIRST competition.
and in most of the competition the robot will be controlled by human (with joystics)

so do you have solution??

USB us very very very complicated.Try to get an analog joystick.Whith that you just reed the ADC.
