Default IR object detection

Hi.

How can I have an IR transistor to accept only modulated IR light? So I can choose let's say 35KHz frequency for the working frequency of my IR object detection system?

Use an IR receiver IC, very simple to use, freely available, and excellent performance. Check my PIC tutorials where I use them in my IR tutorial.
