Have fun finding out. I haven't got very far either, and since I don't need the analogue button functionality, I'm going to be using a PS1 Dual Shock pad, in fact, that is what I've been designing for so far.

Oh well. This PS2 thing is a total mystery to me. It's almost as if the protocol is some kind of well-guarded secret or something. I'll probably have to figure out the format the old fashioned way. If I'm lucky, it'll be pretty similar to PSX. Anyway, you've got to admit, those game controllers make great interfaces for these RC bot projects. And real cheap too.

Wow. Great looking robot. An ambitious idea is to have like 2 of those robots. Instead of having a gripper, have a laser pointer and something-to-acknowledge that-its-been-hit-by-the-laser. It would be like playing a robot war game. Or do we have those already?
