I am looking for a few education robot for a youth group project. I came
across two candidates Khepera and MiniMosro. How do they stack up against each other?

Can anyone advise?

Wayne, I think the Khepera is considered a "research" robot, don't
know about the other one. For incipient roboticists, you might take a
look at the Boebot from [parallaxinc.com] and the Lego Mindstorms
Robotics Set [mindstorms.lego.com].
