HOW CAV DO IT .....turn off A/D and initialize those ports as digital I/Os. For this, the ANSEL and CMCON registers must be initialized. [PIC 16F676]

Clear the ANSEL register. Perhaps there is an ANSEL high register. I do not think the CMCON register matters for that chip (Default off). Thats about it. | |
