Default micro controllers

Is it possible to use micro controllers to make transmeters/receivers, or other devices as power supplies(possible to generat different level of voltages).

Could you please supply me some articles to folow up some basic ideas and design procedures for such devices.

Many thanks,

Mahinda

you can search the Application Notes at www.microchip.com. There are many kinds of examples. And you should download select pic guide 2004 from microchip to know about power supply chips.

to your question: Yes, you can. An UPS may use a only PIC16F72 in stead of a big digital IC board.
