Default PIC Programmer?

What is A good Programming method for PIC Micro controllers? Im looking for something affordable and hopefully in north America as I am in Canada. If anyone has suggestions that would be great!

The PICkit2 or my Junebug kit. Both available in Canada. What part of Canada are you in?

This info should be placed in the sticky

The Junebug is by far a great tool! As you can use it as a Programmer and a PIC18F1320 Tutor. And its inexpensive also.

The Pickit 2 is awesome also. I personally own both product and use both

I have a laptop and a PC so sometimes i debug from both when testing something like infrared communication and rs232 communication.
