DM355 and PIC - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

Hello,
I am using TI TMS320DM355 SDK to communicate with EasyPIC5 Evaluation board using RS232. Both the boards are having RS232 connectors.
The PIC board is connected to a display which is used for initialising it. Now I want the TMS320DM355 board to send commands to the PIC like switiching ON or switching OFF via the RS232.
Can anyone help me on this.
It will be appriciated.
