ERROR in selecting PIC18F4620 in PICCLITE - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

Hi,

I am using PIC18F4620 IC for my project. I am using PICCLITE compiler for programming, i have selected PIC18F4620 device in the IDE and i have included include<htc.h> header file when i write the program and build

i am getting this error

Error[922] : chip "18F4620" not present in chipinfo file "C:\Program Files\HI-TECH Software\PICC\9.50\dat\picc.ini"

so some one tell me how to get rid of the above error

It sounds like your using the version for the 16 series chips. Download and install the 18 series version. clicky
