But the problem is that I don't know how to do that...Do you guys have an example program? About the switch signal for the speed, can I connect it directly to the PIC (16F84A) pin?

That will be two signals, one come from ignition coil for RPM and the other come from a switch for speedometer and these should be displayed on LCD at the same time, I mean, one on the first line and other on the second line.

As I could see, I think this is not difficult for you guys, but it's for me.
