Default using a/d on pic 16f877

I'm trying to use the a/d ports on the 16f877, but for some inexplicable reason I can't find specification information for the A/D in the datasheet or application notes. Does anyone know where I might find information on it, particularly the input voltage range?

Take a look at the datasheet for the 16F877A

Have a look at my tutorials, the latest one trys to simplify the A2D on the 16F876/7 - and, like anything else, should be used in conjunction with the datasheet.

Am I reading this right? The minimum for Vref is Vdd-2.5?

The minimum for the High reference is indeed VDD - 2.5V
the minimum for the Low reference is VSS - 0.3 V
