Default sim chip

does anybody know how i can put information in a empty simcard chip..??

and later read it out and defenitly this al whit microcontrollers..??

you could use it for example for verification modes.. :lol:

Maxim has a nice IC for sim card reading and voltage transforming: MAX1740

do you mean that whit that thing

you can read data out of the simcard and insert your own little bit of chit

To be honest i never worked with those SIM cards, from what i understand they need clock and low voltage and you read / write data serialy , you should look for a SIM cards manufactor and get a data sheet of a SIM card.
If you'll make a SIM card programmer please share it with me , it should be very nice project, each SIM card can contain 32kb of data...

jeje i know,

I have already a sheme how a sim card works and how to connect it..

but i don't have the knowledge of programming pic..

if you help me whit pic or better Atmel

i help you whit sim card and magnetic card readers or i2c or lcd etc..

i'm barely new to this:

- i have 12volt power suply
- 3 pics (PIC16F818 2x) and 1x PIC18F4220
- 2 serial eeproms (24C02C and 1 24LC64)
- P4 PC XP
- some electronic stuf like 05 ic and resistors

no programming board yet..
no software yet
no good tutorial yet

for Atmel i have the other side the books and sheme's but not the chips.. :roll:
