Default 24LC256

I plan on using Microchip 24LC256 EEPROM for a upcoming project and wonder how many bytes/words it can store. I'm asuming it's 256k bit with equates to 32k bytes I do believe or 16k words, does it not?

Yes, you are correct, the figure is in bits, so it's 32KBytes.
