help xr2206 - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

I need hlp/idea on how i can interface a PIC16F84 with a xr2206 i need to varry the output amplitude of the the xr2206 but how do i do it. i have read the data sheet but i cant understand most of it while on the pic side i planning to use an analog mux to varry the voltage 0V to 10V but im stuck there so.....pls help any hint pls

Use a Pic with Vref-OUT.
Ej: PIC16F87X
PIN--> RA2/AN2/Vref-/CVref
This can be use a simple D/A functión by the user if a very high-impedance load is use. (use transistor-amplificator)
