| Moderator | LF means it can run on 2-5.5V, no difference other than lower voltage.

| Experienced Member | Keep in mind though, the LF series can not run at the same speeds with lower voltages; Consider this from the 18F4550 datasheet; ![]() @ 2 volts, the max speed is 4Mhz
