| Experienced Member | The RC5 protocol is pretty easy to decode. Use the input capture function to measure either 1) the time from edge to edge or 2) the time from falling edge to falling edge. Either one of those will let you decode the protocol. That is exactly what the ps3toothfairy (shameless plug) device does. Then you take the measurements and convert them to 1 or 0 based on the pulse width. Your exact measurement from the ICP will depend on which of the above methods you use.
