Hello All

Does any one use the SX Micro Controller here?

If so how do you like them?

The SX is basically a very fast 16F5x PIC.
If it's speed you need a dsPIC30F3013 is a pretty fast part.

About 98% of my projects use PICs. Was trying to figure out how popular the
sx is.

I've seen a few projects build around an SX. I can't really recommend them though- no peripherals, no interrupts, some forbidden command sequences.

Darned if I can find it now. I think it was similar the the RMW issue with PICs, except that even in the silicon it wouldn't be stable without at least one NOP- including internal registers.
