i want to write a c code that will display the time and the date on the
LCD 16*2 iam using PIC16f877A
i dont have any idea about how to start
pls any one help me

Hi,
Basically you need to know how to interface with the LCD. Displaying the time and date is just sending the data in the registers to the LCD.
Check this out.

i have display a sentence on the LCD and iam to displat the time
it should be real time and date
how to do that

After you initialize the LCD, you create a character string and send it one character at a time to the LCD. What don't you understand?

I think their problem is not for the LCD interfacing, it for the generation of Real Time clock.. but i can't help a lot at that point
