Hi,
This is a stupid yes/no question but the data sheet is not clear enough (or my English is not good enough) so I wanna ask before I try If I "code protect" PICxxF... I know I'm not able to read the source back from the pic (or at least I should not be able to without some wiggling of the power that works on old 16c84 for e.g.) but, can I reprogram it with the new code ? So to simplify, will this work: 1. I program 16F887 with "code protect all" option 2. I use the pic 3. I put the same 16F887 and reprogram with NEW code (without code protection" thanks in advance p.s. now the other question pop's up, if this is possible, is there a way to "lock the code in pic so it cannot be programmed again" ?

Yes, you can reprogram it. The code protect is cleared when you erase the chip.
