PICKit 2 question - Electronic Circuits Projects Diagrams Free

If I have a .hex file made by another compiler, can I use the MPLAB IDE and PICKIT 2 to program a PIC with the hex file? Thanks!

Sure, just 'import' the hex file with MPLAB; or you can use the PICKIT2 Programmer software.

Once it is Intel format, you should have no issue.
Even there is a slight possibility it could be other format, you can still use some thirty part tool to convert it to Intel hex format.
So please don't worry.

Funny NYPD	Once it is Intel format, you should have no issue. Even there is a slight possibility it could be other format, you can still use some thirty part tool to convert it to Intel hex format. So please don't worry. Regards, __________________ F.N.
