hi friends, i want to work on a project which shows real time audio Spectrum using 8051 (at89s52) and 16*2 lcd. the source of the audio can be anything like mp3 play or mobile phone. please help.........

I don't think that processor has enough power to do it? - really you need a DSP.

Some where on this forum there is a project using a 16*2 LCD to see audio spectrum.
Not 8051!
Some one will remember where.
