    Question automatically microcontroller o/p changing

    dear friends,
    I m using the atmel mcu , my problem is with designing power supply for that..
    when the arc or spark gerates in the ac supply whole microcontroller output changing. This spike changes input pins state.......
    PLEASE help me....................

    Your power supply is sparking? I think maybe it needs fixing before something burns down.

    Also, make sure you're putting a 100nF bypass capacitor as close to the power pins on the Atmel IC as possible.

    Which chip are you using? Atmel makes many, many different microcontrollers.
