Default Simple question.

Hello.
I'm kinda new at electronics, and I order a microcontroller and I'm wait to arrive.
But I have a question. After I program the microcontroller how I do to make it work, I mean, to make it run the program when its already on the breadbord (or PCB or whatever), do I simply connect both +V and GND pins and its start executing the program?

Yes, but remember the pull up the MCLR (Master Clear) pin so that it won't be floating and keeps reseting.
