Hi,

I am actually looking for PIC BASIC compiler...

The compiler that can program pic microcontroller in BASIC language...

I felt that the capability of the colpiler can be 8k... but if it is less then also we can work upon it...

Regards,

Simran...

Proton is a robust product, with regular updates and device additions..
You can download a lite version from :

Great Cow Basic can do up to 20,000 lines of code. Development could be characterized as middle/high beta stage.

For Swordfish, PM member 'gramo', he uses SW extensively.

For Proton Lite, if you have it in your PC, run it and then 'help', you will see its limited to a maximum of 50 lines of code!
Also only 4 PIC types!

This is an extract from the 1st webpage of microBasic.
Note: in Demo version, hex output is limited to 2k of program words

The pic basic pro has the same limitations as the Proton lite.

Its taken me all of 5 minutes to find this information, where were you looking.????

hi,
Look at GCBasic,, [Great Cow Basic], it has a limited IDE, but it can be used with the Crimson Editor....
also with the Context Editor, its got no size limitations.

Smile Sir...

Whats the purpose of crimson editor... or context editor...

Am i right that they are used as notepad for storing hex files...?

if this is there then.. does it mean that microsoft notepad can not be used for this purpose...

Regards,

Simran...
