Question Maximum sinking current....

Can anyone tell me the maximum sinking current of PIC 16F877A?
Because i plan to connect 12 TSOPs(38kHz) directly to the pic..Heard
its about 25mA.
1.Is it 25mA per pin?
2.Can the PIC sink 300mA altogether simultaneously?

If it cannot, can anyone suggest a buffer(non-inverting type)?

Assuming that by TSOP you mean an IR receiver then they are input devices and don't draw any current from the pic.

Yes,they are used as IR receivers...
The V(out) pin of the TSOPs are connected directly to the pic..So is it not necessary that the PIC has to be capable of accepting the currents of 12
such devices without burning out?

You seem to have no idea of how currents and voltages work?. The TSOP's output hardly any current, they are almost like an open collector output - just with a high value pull-up. Also, regardless of the current capabilities of the source, PIC input pins don't take any current worth mentioning - as long as you keep within their specified limits (Vdd to Vss).
