Your request sounds a bit strange. Since the 8051 and the AVR represent different hardware sets it would seem that each would require its own simulator. I know of no software product that simulates processors with different architectures. Where did you even get the idea that this was possible or probable?

DO you need an avr simulator for asm code not assembled in hex format?

If so, go to atmel.com and download avrstudio. It has one of the best simulators out there for FREE.

I agree with you on AVR Studio, and I suppose that might be a charitable interpretation, but we really need a clarification in order to help the OP.
