Default atmel programmer

I'm not really skilled in the programming of microcontrollers yet, and i have googled. i do prefer PICs, but i have a need to program an at89c chip, and i need a programmer. aren't there simple cable one's like that pic one with a few resistors and caps for this type of mcu??? Surely someone here knows

seems to be an avr series programmer, correct me if i'm wrong, but thanks anyway...

at89c is the 8051 family right?

it is, i know nothing really, but are all 8051 family AVRs??? Edit: NO!
i guess i'll google some more for an 8051 family cable programmer or something
