Default Help with data input for 18f452

How do I input keyboard data to the 18f452 on the PICDEM 2 PLUS demo board? I'm using the MPLAB ICD2, programming in C language.

YOu need a PS/2 jack first of all to run the keyboard pins to the PIC pins...and read this:

If you don't want to deal with the code so much, then you can use this IC:

Thanks. Sorry but what I meant was whether if there is a way to input data to the PIC from my computer and not straight from the keyboard. Pardon me

I'm working on a project where the PIC checks for data input through a transceiver from another device to activate an LED but currently I'm thinking whether it can be simulated through the computer as I do not have the transceiver yet.

Help is needed lol.

Just use the serial port, and an RS232 link.
