Default serial TTL and inverted serial TTL

Hi,
what is the difference between serial TTL and inverted serial TTL? Is there some way to make a conversion?

Thanks,

An inverter!. Use either one NOT gate (assuming you have a spare?), or an NPN transistor and two resistors.
