Connecting a PS1, or PS2 keyboard

I would like to connect a ps1, or ps2 keyboard to my microcontroller. How would i do this. Now that i think about it some more, i will use a ps2 keyboard, unless a PS1 would be easier. I think they are the same. Any ideas? I know that keyboards use a hexadecimal key system, but i would i hook it up?
 
That helped alittle. I will read through it more when i actuall learn assembly. Lol. Cool name....
