It great news. Your ordeal is finally over.

I hope you have learnt a lot about the tracks on a PCB one made at home. Always use the thickest track width possible to shorten the PCB etching time, to prolong the potency of the etchant and to reduce greatly the chance of any hair line cracks.

Now there are some tests that you can carry out to see whether you can improve the operation of the programmer. To start with, I don't like the two 100nF capacitors on the Vdd and Vpp connection to ground. They should not be there. One do need a 100nF capacitor at the PIC circuit board side, right next to the Vdd and Vss supply pins of the PIC but not at the programmer side. So try to remove them and you will probably find your programmer will now works with more than one software. No capacitor is needed for the Vpp line.

You can also fit back the LEDs to let you see the status of Vdd and Vpp line. These would not cause any problem.
