Default What is the suffix on pic chips

What is the significance of the suffix which follows a slash on some chips.

eg:
PIC16F628 A-04/P

as opposed to:

PIC 16F628A 20/P

I am guessing it is something to do with the size of the chip but if someone could explain it to me, or point me in the direction of a website which explains it (in newbie language) then I would be most grateful.

Thanks
John

04 means it's rated up to 4Mhz while 20 means it's rated 20Mhz. It's all in the PIC16F628A datasheet.

However, I don't think there are 4Mhz parts for the "A" version anymore.
