Why is this forum called "Math and Physics"? It should be Maths and Physics.

I think it's probably a cultural thing?, either is probably OK, depending where you are!.

In Australia we abbreviate mathematics as maths not math. Math seems clumsy.

Same in the UK, I think 'math' is just an Americanism!.

Here I've learned as "math".

Lol, in Portuguese, it's "clumsier".

Mathematics = Matemática
Abreviation = Mat.
