Factorise: (2 a square b square + 2 b square c square + 2 a square c square - a raised to the power of 4 - b raised to the power of 4 - c raised to the power of 4) / 16. The whole expression is under root. Sorry, because the sum is in words.

| Experienced Member | For some reason the Latex on this form requires an variable/number followed by an equals sign. For example, you can have: or: But you can't have: or even something simple like: I suppose a + b doesn't make much sense on its own. Last edited by ElectroMaster; 12th October 2007 at 03:00 PM. |

| Experienced Member | I meant that Latex on this forum won't let you have: a + b you need to have: c = a + b This means that what you want to do won't work unless you have an = sign somewhere in-between some numbers or variables. |
