Hello
Just joined and thought I'd introduce myself.
Been into electronics one way or another since 1976 (old fart alert). Currently working as a Field Service Engineer in the medical equipment sector in N.W. England so still involved but there's too much board changing going on these days rather than fault finding down to component level which is a shame.

0My circuit designs should be regarded as experimental. Although they work in simulation, their component values may need altering or additional components may occasionally be necessary when the circuit is built. Due safety precautions should be taken with any circuit involving mains voltage or electrostatic-sensitive components.

Welcome aboard, hope you come to enjoy the ETO forums. Really a nice place to visit and hang out a little. As to old? I think you will find an interesting cross sectional area of older to younger here.
