    Default 3.7volt to 6volt

Anyone have any idea/circuit to build inverter to convert 3.7 volt to 6 volt 40 mA. I want to charge mobile from 3.7 volt battery.
I've searched Internet, nothing found useful.

A simple 555 timer IC can be set up to work as a simple charge pump voltage booster. It would likely give you the needed 6 volts or close enough at 40 Ma if built properly.

Perhaps a TL499 boost switching regulator would do it? You may be in no man's land though, because the minimum voltage difference may not work, hard to say with that data sheet.
