Just 2 quick questions, where do you all buy your components and bits n bobs? and if anyone get custom PCBs produced where do you get it done?
Preferably UK based please

i buy parts from rapid electronics and CPC. sometimes use RS

I usually get my components from Digikey, or Circuit Specialists (because they're right down the street).

Here are some reputable suppliers, but they are large, so some price watching should be done so that you don't get robbed. Also, it is a good idea to check out to see if the supplier has an established credit card agreement etc, just to keep you more safe.

there was a bloke in here offering cheep PCBs for members of this forum. I'll see if I can find him.

Edit: ok, that was the PCBideas.com, and it said the offer was only valid until 30th june. It still might be worth emailing him and seeing if he can do you some cheap...
