What functions does it have? Maybe you can add an alarm?

Does it have an alarm? How about a tap sensor so you can just hit it for sleep mode so you don't need to find the button.

A snooze mode that will allow you to tap multiple times...each tap adds 5 or 10 minutes.

Hey guys im not going to add a alarm. This clock is for Giant Clock. So as i think alarm is not that useful for a giant clock.

Woow that TAPPING idea is really coool.

You never told us it's going to be a giant clock. You can't ask for suggestions and leave out details like that. Is it going on a household wall or something? How about adding an IR sensor and mapping the settings to some unused button on the TV remote?

If you want another sensor, you can add barometric pressure, humidity, air quality...

How about a timer (for example when you have to change the laundry) that flashes (and sounds) when the time is up. You can also add a mode that displays the amount of time remaining until the timer is expired (or until your alarm goes off).

You could add event memory for multiple alarms (with one-time, daily, weekly events, etc.) and timers.

Also, you can chime (or sound) the hour (and special tones for half and quarter hours).

Since it is electronic you can add a tick-tock sound (like a grandfather clock) to give it that good old calming sound. (Make the volume adjustable though.)
