I came across the terms "Song Algorithm" and "Space Shuttle Algorithm", relating to delta modulation, but dnt knw how they wrk....can anyone xplain please....

PS-I lookd up the net but couldnt find anythn satisfactry....the search for "Space Shuttle Algo" keeps on returning results related to space shuttle programs n styff....

Actually our tchr mentioned these terms....but didnt bothr 2 xplain....or rather didnt knw the algos himslf....

On a serius note,one such algo for adaptive delta modulation is mentiond in Taub Schillin ....this one myt b the "Song Algo",but m not sure,since no name is given....n it is also mentioned tht a variation of this algo is used in space shuttles.....
