Anyone know how many LCD backlight fluorescent bulbs I can drive from one inverter? We have ~18lbs. of fluorescent backlights (ebay) that my friend bought, but no inverters. I read that they take 500-800VAC, so I'm hoping to salvage some old inverters to use. Do the fluorescent bulbs need a specific voltage, or would any inverter work? | |

Different bulbs will require different strike voltage, operating voltage, and different currents. Don't assume that the inverters you have will drive any particular bulb.
