Helo guys I need a circuit whereby temperature is sensed, and if below a certain value, a heating element makes the temperature rise. And when the temperature reaches that certain value, a motor starts turning. Any ideas?? =_= are there any precautions to take?? Last edited by goodguy; 20th October 2009 at 09:31 PM. | |

Are the two values that you mention exactly the same or are they different?

How about a household AC thermostat.

If you want it simple, google for some PTC sensors and op-amps (LM358 f.i.) in comparator mode. the temperature sensor changes it's resistance for changes of temperature. Start playing with op-amps in comparator mode. That's really simple stuff.

What temperature to turn on the heater? What temperature to turn on the motor?
