| I have to make an audio mutesw. for a mic(audio signal before amp.). I's a box that puts the balanced signal to ground with a mechanical pushbutton sw. But when I push the button, it clicks. I dont want power in the box. What should I do? Can enybody tell me? Linus from Denmark CPH. linuspecorelli@hotmail.com | |

| It may be that DC on the lines is causing the click. If you have a balanced mic, the best way to mute is switch the balanced leads together - not to ground. | |

| you could also try maybe using a capacitor between the leads on the switch. i have used that several time to suppress clicks on different projects..
