    Default Simplest possible hall-effect circuit

    Hi.

Is it possible to turn off/on a led based on input from a hall-effect sencor using a single NPN transistor (or very few transistors) and resistors.

Did a google search for hall effect sencors, but all chematics includes at least one comparator/opamp.

Seems some can drive LEDs directly.

Try A3212 from allegro or AH180 from Diodes.
This are available in both through hole and SMT versions.

Thanks for reply, but I already have a couple of hall censors laying around. They have four pins, and I want to make some use of them.
